Description

Concrete and Velvet. Distressed Veronese (Mole)

Commissioned by Suzanne Garuda for Des Ewing latest contemporary residential project, the Iceberg. The Iceberg has been a multi collaboration of innovative crafts and people. TF worked closely with Garuda Design on the aesthetics to provide an elegant fireplace feature. The design is in homage to Gothic revivalist architect Augustus Pugin’s 1850 pattern, Veronese. The distressing of the velvet was to create a more informal and softer feel within the living room.
